| VBS 2009 - Boomerang Express |

The 2009 Vacation Bible School - Boomerange Express was a big success for our children. We initially enrolled 50 kids with an average attendence of 38 each Wednesday night during the month of June. Our children followed Peter's journey from his invitation to join Jesus as a disciple. The theme verse for the series is 1 John 4:9 "God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him." (HCSB) Each Wednesday night we studied something different in Peter's life; Day 1 Peter's invitation, Day 2 Peter's discovery, Day 3 Peter's challenge, Day 4 Peter's mission and finally Peter's obedience. The children enjoyed different types of craft's, music, and refreshment nightly. Check out some of our pictures below.
